We received package from NHRA

First off let me tell you that the buzz is really getting out there , keep it going !!!!!! We are thinking about naming the park , "Vancouver Island Extreme MultiSport Park " or something like it . As you know we want many sports from pedal power on up to the most horsepower  that can stay on the ground and cross the finish line . I looked into a surf rider water machine and also a wind tunnel flight sim , these are very high priced , but sure would be alot of fun and we believe we could keep these busy if we include many of the other sports that we have in mind all in one great place !!! Campbell River !!!. So ok , I had talked to Jonathan Adams from NHRA 's North West Division office back in Nov 08 about the guidelines we would have to follow to have an NHRA sanctioned event at our track , also what the track spec's were and safety regulations and so on . So today March 6/09 I reached into my mail box and pulled out a nice big brown envelope , it was from Jonathan Adams .

 

So we now have a few more pages of information about things like track thickness and some important things we needed to know . Still lots to find out though . We also have been in contact with Timber West about the land we would  need to have this venture happen . I received an email today with the different parcels of land they have around the C.R area . We are looking for about 400 acres , not too close to town , but not to far away . We want to have a meeting of the minds very soon to kick around some ideas, Me and my buddy have a saying," the best idea wins ". We have had more than a few people tell us they have certain skills we will need to proceed from staking the ground up , this is so awesome to hear, So anyone who has offered their services and expertise to us should contact us asap so we can get to know you and hopefully use your talents to benefit us all ,,We are going to have a meeting next week with a few of you out there maybe on Wed/thur or so . I know we will hear some great ideas from you .I will keep you posted . Untill then have a great daydream and keep the rubber on the road .
